What up fam!

I hope all is good with you and your family.  I hope you all are staying safe.  We can’t get too relaxed because people are still dying from the Corona Virus.  The last week has been crazy here in the Queen City.  People have been protesting here and all over the world.  I can’t believe how that police officer just killed that man in the middle of the street.   I pray the Lord gives the Floyd family strength and comfort. 

I was concerned about you and wanted to make sure you were ok.  How are you coping with everything?  I wanted to remind you that you and your family are covered by the Blood of Jesus.  You are sanctified and set apart, in the world but not of the world.  Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that rise against you in judgment, the Lord shall condemn.”  COVID-19 and racism are weapons of the devil.  The police shootings and murdering of unarmed African American men and women are tactics of the devil.  Remember you are in the world but not of the world.  You are a servant of the Lord.  The God you serve did not give you the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7).  We who are in Christ have a different worldview from everyone else.   We are not afraid or fearful because in Christ we have power over the enemy, love for our fellow man and peace that surpasses all understanding.
