Hey Fam!

I hope this post finds you in good health.

I wanted to remind and encourage you to be faithful in your tithing and offering.

Malachi 3:10-11 says “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

I’m going to keep it real with you. My wife and I are faithful tithers and we have seen God honor His word regarding tithing. In the past 2 months I wasn’t able to work because of COVID-19. I’m a Licensed Barber and the governor ordered the barbershops to close and cease doing business. COVID-19 put me in a position where I couldn’t make any money. I was unable to earn money I needed to pay my bills and put food on my table. I really couldn’t afford to not work for 2 months. We have a mortgage and other bills.

Malachi 3:11 says “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes.” COVID -19 is a devourer. The devil used COVID-19 to attack my finances. But Glory be to God! Jehovah Jireh kept His promise and didn’t let me and my family be devoured by COVID-19. Back in March when the governor closed the shops and didn’t have any fear or concerns. I knew that through Jesus Christ I could go boldly to the throne of grace and ask God for a financial blessing. I believed God would honor His word and open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that I wouldn’t have room enough to receive.

By the grace of God, our bills are paid and we haven’t missed any meals. God is faithful and He will do what He said He will do. God challenges us to test Him, “prove me now herewith.” I am a witness that God will honor His word.

We can trust God with not only our money but we can trust Him with our lives. Not only does He promise to bless our finances He promises to give us abundant life.

Love you!
